Airport: Cancun International Airport (CUN)

Playa del Carmen is approximately 45 minutes from the airport. There are many taxi options you can hire on arrival, or your hotel may also be able to arrange a pickup.

If you would like to explore the area by car you could also rent a vehicle at the airport or prior to your arrival. All international car rental companies are available (Hertz, Alamo, Enterprise, Dollar, etc.)

CAR RENTAL

If you would like to explore the area in your own car then we recommend renting a one at the airport.
If you only plan to stay in Playa del Carmen or take a guided tour, then a car is not necessary.

TAXI, UBER

In Playa del Carmen it is very easy to get around by Taxi or Uber.

TOURS

There are many guided tours to the pyramids, cenotes, parks, etc. and most of them have the option of transportation to and from your hotel.
